Day 8 - Essaouira to Marrakesh

This was our main day for shopping, and here is a list of some of the lovely things which members of our group bought, and their approximate cost in sterling .

we had an excellent lunch

and ates and spices

and then a walk round the old city

including the ruins of a very ancient palace

for a magnificent last evening meal
